The death and resurrection of Jesus is the center of Christianity. Lent is the 40 days that start on Ash Wednesday and ending on Easter Sunday. The Sundays between these times don't count as the 40 days. The 40 days is significant because 40 carries biblical significance for example the 40 days of the Great Flood, the 40 years Israel spent bin the wilderness, Jesus's 40 days in the wilderness and 40 days Jesus spent on the Earth after his resurrection. Lent is the season of preparation of Jesus's death and resurrection. Lent is the journey to the cross. It meditates on our sin and weakness. During this time we look to Jesus as our perfect example and heighten our worship of his victory over Satin sin and death.

I think we should celebrate everyday that Jesus conquered death, washed away sin and left us the Holy Spirit. What do you think Jesus stands for?

The article says that the fear of God is the start of wisdom. Wisdom comes from God. Joseph became the ruler of Egypt by the Wisdom of God. Jesus  had people amazed at his Wisdom because he did not toy with sins. He was lord of every element of nature. God's wisdom makes you wiser than sickness poverty or failure and when a man is wiser than his enemy he can easily defeat him. Sin is a sinker it pulls you down like lead in water and sin is as dangerous as poison.

I think that God makes you have more wisdom than anything could but if you don't fear him then you can't have the Wisdom of God but i don't know if you have to fear him. I think that sin is a sinker and is dangerous too but Jesus takes those sins and takes them off of us. Do you think we have to fear God to have his wisdom?
